Home Theaters and Media Rooms Audiodesign's home theaters and media rooms have ranged in complexity from simply hooking up surround sound speakers to a standard television in an existing family room, to creating dedicated home theaters featuring aisle lighting, theater seating and fixed screens... and everything in between. We specialize in ultra-thin plasma televisions, which can be neatly hidden in a cabinet when not in use, and are well-practiced in creating the best possible family entertainment center within your budget. Audiodesign is committed to training and retaining the highest level of expertise in its staff. To that end, we are one of the few THX-certified dealers in Connecticut. We have graduated from McIntosh Labs' prestigious McMasters program and been factory trained at Meridian Audio and Niles Audio's dealer programs. We are members of Cedia, the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association, and were recently honored by one of the most well-known names in home theater, Runco, by being chosen as one of only 25 dealers nationwide to receive an invitation to their annual dealer retreat. With each new project, we push the boundaries of what we've accomplished before, while retaining the highest standards of professionalism and audio/video excellence. When you come to us with your idea for a home theater, whether it's in your existing basement or family room, or an entirely new space, one of our professionals will meet with you, examine the room and assess your needs for each segment of the project. We can provide our own designers, builder, and architect or happily work with yours to make your vision - whether it's Ancient Rome or Star Wars - a reality. After discussing the physical, budgetary and aesthetic goals of the project, the Audiodesign representative will submit a proposal to you for your approval, containing our estimates for the best fit for your needs regarding video, audio components, seating, loudspeakers, acoustical treatments, and design. Pending your approval, we will schedule a timeline with you and the other professionals working on the project for completion of your theater. The vast majority of Audiodesign's business is driven by referrals from satisfied customers, and we stand behind all the work that we do. We happily perform service calls as necessary to maintain the theater going forward and we want you to be nothing but overjoyed with the result.
